Karl G Larsen Bio

I am Karl G Larsen – Personal Wellness Coach and Entrepreneur.

Fall of 2003, I graduated from Princeton High School in Princeton, MN. I tried out and made the Minnesota Blizzard, Junior A hockey team in the  in the North American Hockey League. After 1/2 the season, I was playing every third game. I was frustrated. I worked harder, I lifted harder and my ice time did not improve. I scheduled a meeting with the coach and asked why I wasn’t playing, “You’re too slow, you need to lose weight.” BOOM! I felt like I was hit by a train.

After that life changing experience I went on a relentless pursuit to study weight loss and health and wellness. I lost 15 lbs in a rather short period of time and began playing much more.

After 2 years of grinding it in Junior A hockey, I decided to by-pass my 3rd year and pursue a top-notch education (physics) and play Division III hockey. I arrived at the U of WI – Stevens Point in the fall of 2005.

Everything was going well at UWSP until the summer of my junior year, I was unemployed. I called on a ad in the paper and within a week was selling Kirby vacuums door-to-door! Talk about change, QUICK! At first I loved the challenge of selling vacuums. Then I realized the truth … it was high pressure, profit focused, sell NOW, sales – not my gig. So after 2 months I decided that was not for me.

Luckily, before I was done selling vacuums, I was introduced to direct sales industry through a vacuum prospect. I investigate the opportunity for a month then started a home based business and was now “self-employed”… again!

After 1 year, I was in major debt, making little profit, and was struggling aka I was looking for a new opportunity! Life presents open doors and windows when you look for them.

Shortly thereafter, I as contacted by a past college hockey teammate and friend who introduced me to the Nutrition Club business model. I immediate fell in love with the Nutrition Club model and pulled out of graduate school (I was accepted into the Masters of Science – Mechanical Engineering program at U of CO – Boulder, my dream program!). It was May 2010 and I was graduating from college in 2 weeks.

After deciding that the Nutrition Club opportunity was aligned with my goals and dreams, I opened DL Fusion with my business partner in Sept. 2010. DL Fusion is a Nutrition Club in Detroit Lakes, MN. My business partner and I built DL Fusion into one of the top volume producing Nutrition Clubs in MN and the country – within 1 year!

In October of 2011, another Nutrition Club opportunity presented itself. I decide to sell my ownership of DL Fusion to a team member and expand to Brainerd, MN. After many months of grueling work, a new business partner and I opened The Burn, a forward moving, energetic, and sexy Nutrition Club that is going to start a health and wellness revolution in the Brainerd/Baxter, MN area. The Burn opened Dec. 26th, 2011. It’s game time!

I am pursuing my dreams, day in and day out, and it feels amazing.

I feel blessed that such an amazing opportunity presented itself to me and that I took action on the opportunity. I also feel blessed to teach and mentor other ambitious individuals who are changing people lives. We are creating a health and wellness wave that is “moving mountains” and changing lives. It’s utterly amazing.

My life is now dedicated to helping others realize their dreams and to teach, inspire, mentor, and help other ambitious people who want to make a difference and create a movement.

I am expanding into markets abroad and looking for leaders, achievers, and passionate people.
